Ok soo it's been a while since I last posted.. Things got really busy in moving to Nashville, starting my job with Nissan and getting married... Since my move I have sold the Jetta TDI I was driving (thank God its gone!) and have added a '93 Yj as my daily and a '91 K1500 as my parts truck. Sadly they take away some of the funds for the meano however its nice to have a few toys for weather pending days! Heres the Jeep and Truck Ill post more about the mods on the Jeep from the day I got it to its current condition including pics. At this point im 3 ASE's and 1 Class away from Nissan Master and I can start GTR training.

Blown 10 Bolt.

Well she finally had enough, snapped the rear spider and side gears. But what can you expect with that much power running through a 10 bolt? So I had a friend give me an old 12 bolt... but I decided to go with a 9". g Also going to go ahead and do a full tub (moving the frame rails and steel tubs). Will probably end up moving the fuel cell to the original location of the gas tank. Building my own 4 link set up, as well as spring perches with jacking bolts and shock mounts. Planning 31x16.50x15 slicks and front skinnys, 150lbs rear springs, and rear 70/30 shocks. Going to go ahead with front runner tires, new springs, control arms and a 90/10 shocks. As far as gears and carriers: Movtive 4.56 gears and a Detroit locker have yet to decide between 31 and 35 spine axles.

Welcome To Bottoms Up Building

       I am Justin Bottoms, My Passion is building Power and Custom Cars! My very first build is my 1967 Chevrolet El Camino.

I built and assembled everything in this beast. Coming from no automotive experience to now, 6 years later with 2 Years of school and lots of learning still left she is sitting in the mid 600ft lbs range with a sbc 355.
